Machine from a casting to a finished profile

PartMaster allows you to define ANY shape that
represents the stock material; you can then
machine only the material between the stock and
the finished profile. An easy to use yet very
powerful function.
Many options such as grooving, threading and
facing off require no geometry input at all, just
define the Z, X, start and finish points and specify
any options.

Boring Intricate profiles with in Partmaster Lathe

The system allows you to area clear a bore by
indicating the start and finish points and a "check"
surface. Because PartMaster knows the tool tip
geometry it will not allow the tool to "overcut" the
check surface.
Different finishing allowances can be specified in Z
and X. The profile can then be finished machined
with a boring tool or a grooving type tool.
Thread Machining in Partmaster Lathe

Machining threads is simplicity itself, you simply define
the start and end coordinates and enter the required
data using the dialog shown below. The thread may
be parallel or tapered, internal or external. Using a
Groove type tool you can even produce square Acme
type threads.
